Tazkia’s Story - Maryland
Updated: Jul 20, 2021
“My dad lost his job because of COVID. So me and my brother both are trying to saddle the family, helping the family members. We lost some of our family members due to COVID. So it's not an easy journey for me.
From the very beginning, when I heard about the vaccine coming, I was so ready.
So me and my family are all ready for the vaccine and we are not anxious. Because we believe if God gives us a crisis, there is a solution too, and we feel that the vaccine is a solution.”
Tazkia Hoque immigrated to the U.S. from Bangladesh in 2008 and works at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
