Interviewed April 21, 2021
“When I heard that the vaccine was going to be available, I was kind of indifferent. Only because I’ve never been a person big on vaccines. I had never got a flu shot before. I think I got the shots that were required growing up, whether it was a pediatric checkup here or there, but as far as being an adult, I never really had to get a shot for any reason before.
When I heard a vaccine was coming, I was kind of indifferent, but then I had to look at it from a different perspective. We had already been quarantining for quite some time before the vaccine came out.
I was ready to move past it, and enjoy my life a little bit. I had just moved to a new place, a new environment. Now that I am vaccinated, I’m really excited to explore life and have a little bit more fun in my new surroundings.”
